On April 10, 2014, we hosted a Mavrovo Conference in Skopje - the first public and open debate about the projected hydropower plants inside Mavrovo National Park. The conference was well attended; participants included representatives of the  International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the National Ministry for Environment and Physical Planning, national organizations, EuroNatur and Riverwatch.
